What is The Wallfisch Band?

 

The Wallfisch band is an international chamber orchestra founded and directed by the world-renowned baroque violinist Elizabeth Wallfisch.

 

The core membership comprises a small group of internationally recognised musicians, all of whom are also experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated teachers.

 

The remaining membership of the Band consists of young players at the start of their professional careers. The Wallfisch Band is a 'living masterclass' for these young members, providing them with a unique opportunity to work intensively alongside well-known international artists in music-making at the highest professional level.
